At exactly six hours away, Allegheny College is a private liberal arts college that is recognized as one of the Colleges That Change Lives because the culture of the college gives its students the support and encouragement that they need to find their own ways into and through adulthood. Admissions is competitive, with the average admitted freshman having scored about a 26 on their ACT.
