College of the Day: High Point University

High Point University is a college that has sought after, and earned, interesting press for its efforts to recruit more enrollment. One measure it took was to admit more students; another was to install a "lazy river" on campus to celebrate the beautiful weather in central North Carolina. Colleges similar in addmisions and enrollment in out part of the country include the University of Scranton, Butler Univeresity, and Clarkson University. Admission rate is about 70% and most students earn SAT scores in the 500s.
